Garmin Nuvi 2599 Has a Delayed Map Response

Having multiple detailed maps enabled at the same time can slow down the device's processing. On your Nuvi 2599, navigate to Settings > Map. Choose Map Info or Configure Maps. Uncheck or disable any detailed maps that are not needed. Make sure that the "Worldwide DEM Basemap, NR" is enabled, as this is necessary for the basic map to function.
