GameSir X2s Type-C Buttons Do Not Function

Buttons may stop responding if debris, dust, or residue becomes trapped under the button caps.

• Press each button several times to see if any feel stiff, slow, or stuck.
• Check for dirt or grime around the button edges.

If a button feels “mushy” or doesn’t pop back up, it may need to be cleaned or replaced.

• Buttons feel soft or inconsistent when pressed
• Input only registers if the button is pressed very hard
• Some buttons stop working entirely

A damaged membrane will need replacement

The electrical contacts on the internal PCB may be damaged or worn down.

• No response from a specific button, even though it physically moves.
• Buttons that intermittently work depending on pressure or angle.
• Signs of corrosion or scratches on the PCB pads.

This often requires cleaning the board or replacing the PCB/button assembly

A fall or heavy pressure can shift internal parts out of place.

• Buttons that move but don't register input.
• Rattling or a loose feeling inside the controller.
• D-pad or face buttons that sit unevenly.

Realignment or remounting may be necessary.

• Doesn't input with any device
