Flydigi Vader 3 Pro Controller Disconnects During Gameplay

Flydigi Vader 3 Pro Controller Disconnects During Gameplay

If your Flydigi Vader 3 Pro is not working or stuck during gameplay, follow this page for possible solutions.

Causes

1

Make sure lights appear when turning on while charging the controller.

  • Try using a new high-quality USB-C cable if yours is frayed or bent
  • After ensuring the plug is connected to the controller, let the controller charge 5-10 minutes, and see if the lights appear when pressing the home button.

If the lights still do not come on when pressing the home button, the issue is most likely a faulty battery, expired motherboard, or bad USB-C port.

2

If you are not using a USB-C cable, be sure that the specifications are identical to a USB-C cord.

  • If available, use a different outlet or device to plug the cable into to ensure the cable is functioning properly.
  • Inspect the cord for any fraying or exposed wiring.
  • Take a flashlight and inspect the inside of the charging cord, if anything is damaged, get a new cable.
3

A hard reset restarts the core hardware components, effectively ending all software operations that may cause the controller to not connect.

  • Remove the back half of the controllers casing and check the inside of the controller for any damages or corrosion

Follow these steps to reset the controller:

  1. hold the home button for 3 seconds until lights flash.
  2. disconnect anything connected to the controller other than the USB-C cable that pairs to your device.
  3. Make sure USB-C cable has a clear line of sight to the console.
4

If all other software and hardware failure have been ruled out, the firmware is most likely the problem.

  • Replace the firmware.
