Corsair K65 Plus Wireless Won’t Turn On

Before troubleshooting further, fully charge the device to rule out a drained battery as the cause of the problem.

Ensure charging port is clear of obstruction and debris. Use another device to connect to

the charging cord. If the other device is not charging, you may have a faulty charging cord.

Replace the cord and repeat to see if the device begins to charge.

If both charging cable and charging port are operational, you may have a faulty battery.

Over time rechargeable batteries, such as the one used in the Corsair K65 Plus Wireless, lose their total charge capacity and can run into functional issues. To test the battery plug the keyboard into a charging cord that is known to work and try to turn the keyboard on. If the keyboard works while plugged in but shuts off after disconnecting, then the battery has failed. For repair, refer to the battery replacement guide.

If the keyboard does not turn on even while plugged in the PCB may have failed. The major component inside the Corsair K65 is the Printed Circuit Board (PCB). If the previous troubleshooting steps have been completed and the keyboard still does not power on, then the PCB could be faulty.
