Razer Wolverine Ultimate Multi-Function Buttons Unresponsive

Introduction

If the additional multi-function buttons on the underbelly of the Razer Wolverine Ultimate controller are not responding to user inputs, follow this page for solutions.

Causes

Loose or Faulty Cable Connection

Check the USB connection. Make sure the USB cable is securely connected to both the controller and the console, or try using a different USB cable or port to rule out connection issues.

Incorrect Button Mapping

The back buttons require 'mapping', where the user assigns specific commands to each button. Open the Razer controller set up on the Xbox app Razer Synapse. (If you do not have this yet, install from the official Razer website)

Damaged Hardware

Unfortunately, due to the uniqueness of the Razer Wolverine's extra buttons, there is no way for a user to repair or replace the pieces on their own if they are severely damaged. It is recommended that users reach out to Razer's customer service number or email here: Razer Customer Service Website.
