Logitech K480 Won't Register Keystrokes

Logitech K480 Won't Register Keystrokes

If your Logitech K480 keyboard won't let you type properly, or if the letters are not showing up correctly or at all, follow this troubleshooting guide.

Causes

1

Make sure that the device you are trying to type on is connected to the keyboard. For a full Bluetooth guide and troubleshooting information, refer to this page in the wiki.

2

If you are unable to type the correct characters your device may be set to the wrong physical keyboard layout. You can change the settings for the keyboard on your device and select a different keyboard layout. On Apple devices, you may need to disable Full Keyboard Access and Mouse Keys. To disable them follow these steps:

  1. Settings > Accessibility > Keyboards > Full Keyboard Access > set to OFF
  2. Settings > Accessibility > Touch > Assistive Touch > Mouse Keys > set to OFF
3

The batteries in your keyboard may be low and need to be changed. To change the batteries, refer to our battery replacement guide [here].
