Unfortunately, sometimes, a glitch, either in the main computer system or in the keyboard itself, results in the text not being displayed on the screen. In this instance, you will need to check your computer's system settings in the keyboard section to see if there are any issues visible to the computer that the human eye may miss.

Another possible outcome is that your keyboard has a technical issue that needs to be looked at by a professional. In this case, you can take it to Fry's Electronics or look at the manual, which may list your specific issue.

Worst case the keyboard will need to be replaced.

Over time through the use of the keyboard, dust particles and other debris can build up under the keys. This may result in “sticky keys” or keys that may not function as smoothly as normal.

To solve this issue you may need to remove the keys and dust the board. You may also purchase an air duster which comes in can form at many office supply stores and you can spray it between the keys to unclog the dust.

When your keyboard/mouse is low in battery, it may have trouble using Bluetooth to connect seamlessly. Make sure your keyboard and mouse are completely charged to ensure the best outcome.

In some cases, the metallic objects between your receiver and keyboard/mouse can distort your Bluetooth connection. Remove metallic objects between your receiver and keyboard/mouse; for example: keys, coffee mugs with metal covers, and metallic pens. Also, the keyboard and/or mouse may be too distant from the device.
