Causes
Before connecting, the speaker must be in pairing mode. The light next to the power button should be quickly blinking blue to indicate pairing mode. The light will blink slower once connected.
- Ensure no other devices are already connected to the speaker.
- Turn the speaker off and on again, and it should enter pairing mode.
Make sure you are connecting to the correct device. When you are trying to pair with the other device, this speaker should be listed as “X-GO” in the list of Bluetooth devices.
Make sure no other unwanted devices are already connected to the speaker. If there is an aux cord plugged in to the speaker, unplug it. Then unpair any other Bluetooth devices from the speaker.
If the device you are trying to connect to the speaker is too far away they may not be able to connect. Try bringing the two devices within a few feet of each other to determine if the distance is the issue. Your speaker should have a range of about 30 feet, but interference in the area may reduce the range.
