I'm never taking anything to a specialist shop again!

My Problem

First off, I bought my 60gig ps3 for $7 as it had the ylod. Took it to a shop and the charged me $90 buck to fix it. No more then 6 months down the line it breaks for the same reason. I called to see if the y can warranty it but Go figure they don't warranty that!? So I Let the system sit for another 10 months and remembered I fixed my iPod so let me see what you guys had to offer. I bought the kit and followed the instructions and now I'm playing again.

My Fix

It went smoothly even after finding out the place the I took my system to keep a lot of my screws >:( I still managed to get it running. Be sure to follow the steps to a "T" and the step for the heat gun if you don't decide to buy there's cause you already own one should be able to heat up to around 500F -530F as the video or website does not specify.

My Advice

Again the heat gun as I mentioned earlier needs to be addressed as it's not stated at all
