My Problem
My battery was swollen, and I needed it replaced to avoid another Samsung-like explosion.
My Fix
Even though I ended up breaking the fingerprint sensor (repaired at a local shop faster than I could), the battery was able to be replaced without much fuss. Thanks, iFixit!
My Advice
Be careful with the fingerprint sensor ribbon cable. It's not as durable as it may seem!
