My Problem
Battery was not holding a charge. New battery is working quite well.
My Fix
The adhesive was a problem as stated in the repair guide..... Sure enough I did not get it out in one piece and had to bend the old lithium battery some to get it out..... it was dead and did not explode.
My Advice
I would consider the removal of the Taptic Engine a necessity to be able to pull the adhesive out at enough of an angle to make it in one piece.
