Extensive overhaul

My Problem

My 3 year old iPhone had several issues: bad battery, worn connections in the lightning port and phone jack and a bad power button. I was able to replace all the components following the iFixit guides in about three hours. The one mistake I made was to forget to remove the adhesive stick on the rear facing microphone, leaving all the videos recorded with very low volume. Had to reopen the phone to fix it, but all is working well now.

My Fix

Well, had to move between guides, but it was not too hard.

My Advice

Be careful to remove all the adhesives from the new parts.
