My Problem
Screen had one horizontal crack. I can see why it'd be a bit more difficult if it were shattered but taped up it shouldn't be that much harder.
My Fix
Perfect, looks like new for a lot less cost. Working with the small screws requires patience, get organized before you start! I put double sided tape on a sheet of paper and set the screws on the tape. I labeled each piece of tape and organized the screws as I removed them. I used a pillow case as a working surface.
If you drop one of those small screws I'd be easy to loose.
I replaced the battery as well as the front screen. Slow steady pull on the adhesive strips worked as advertised, no breaks. Take your time and do not rush.
My Advice
Patience and a magnifying loop were mandatory for me.
