My Problem
Battery was 4 years old and was running down quickly.
My Fix
Went fine although the tape strips both tore, even after heating the phone beforehand. Ended up prying the old battery out-carefully.
Updated - after a year I'm disappointed with the repair. Although everything went fine, the battery life has been poor. It no longer holds a charge more than an hour or so. I probably won't buy another battery from iFixIt. :-(
My Advice
Screws are TINY!! I taped each to a sheet of paper and labeled them for easy reinstallation. I also used packaging tape to prevent the display from popping open and tearing off the Touch ID cable...essential. The ifixit tool kit was very helpful.
