Successful MacBook Pro battery replacement

My Problem

My battery was shot, and would die at 50%.

My Fix

Repair was fairly simple, and the new battery I got from ifixit was very easy to install once the old one was out. Now my Mac works great, and has normal battery life!

My Advice

The hardest part is the adhesive on the lower battery packs. I used a razor blade pushed under them to cut through the adhesive, and then scraped off the residue when they were out.
