My Fix

Battery replacement instructions were very well done. The video was particularly helpful, but I had to replay it several times. Pulling the battery hold down tape from the case is impossible. I was glad that the use of a plastic card to remove it worked, although it was slow-going. Placement of the replacement battery tape was also difficult. I loved the fact you provided all of the necessary tools.

My Advice

I don't know if there is a solution to removal of the battery tape, but my advice would be to just go slow, heat the back of the case, and just know it probably won't work anyway.
