My Problem
end of original battery life.
My Fix
Hassle getting old battery out (glue). Used the "dental floss" removal technique. No adhesive remover used.
My Advice
On removal, don't forget the two screws holding the battery recharge circuit (attached to battery near connector).
I was going leave the new battery unglued in case I needed to ever get to trackpad. Decided it's best to glue the new battery (adhesive strips provided) as a dropped laptop could result in a short and there's a lot of energy to start a fire.
