Great way to replace battery for a better price

My Problem

My iPhone's battery was having issues - not holding a charge long, overheating, and eventually not charging at all. Opened it up to find the original battery somewhat warped and damaged from heat! I didn't want to shell out for a Genius bar replacement and I don't want to buy a new phone just yet so I decided to just replace the battery myself.

My Fix

The repair was easy and relatively quick. The tools provided were perfectly suited to the job and the replacement battery arrived very quickly so I wasn't out of commission long. The guide is simple to follow, easier than it looks, and I was able to remove the old battery and install the new one in about half an hour!

My Advice

Take your time in reattaching all the ribbon cables, handle the device with care, and follow instructions carefully and it's fairly fool-proof!
