My Problem
GPS stopped working, WiFi was not working very well.
My Fix
Went well, problem solved! This repair is not for the faint of heart. I’ve replaced the battery in this phone, so I’m fairly comfortable opening up my phone. But this repair was a whole other level. Around 18 tiny screws of varying sizes and some small parts you have to carefully keep track of.
My Advice
Very delicate parts/components. Be very careful! It would be a good idea to use a cloth of some kind, maybe in a shallow container with plenty of room. As you remove screws/pieces, place them in a similar pattern on the cloth to their placement in the phone-this helped me a lot! Repair completed, no extra screws/pieces left over!! Phone works great now! Tool kit & part purchased together.
