iPhone Battery Replacement

My Problem

My wife and I bought 4s's about the same time. Her battery went bad a few months ago and when she went to Apple, they told her it couldn't be fixed. So, new phone, $800. Mine went bad a couple of weeks ago and decided to see if it could be replaced. I called a non-Apple Apple shop and they said they didn't do them anymore. So I Googled and with great good fortune, found ifixit.

My Fix

I watched the videos when the repair kit came and then did the replacement. It took about twenty minutes, but wouldn't have taken so long if I didn't decide to refer to the videos a couple of times.

My Advice

Watch the videos, read the guide. The other video you should watch is one by HighTechDad. He advised that one should do it on a white towel and shows what to do with the little connector that comes loose. Have good light and keep your parts in the tray. The battery screws are incredibly small
