Replaced battery vs buying a new phone
My Fix
Removing the. stock battery was difficult because of the adhesive tape behind the stock battery, but once out, it was very simple to replace with the new battery.
My Advice
Purchase an additional tool not included in the kit that helps to pry up the old battery from the adhesive tape
