My Problem
My wife accidently spilled water onto keyboard, Result - Laptop became Desktop. The laptop always required to be hooked up to charger to turn it on. Took it to apple store they said its water damage and have to replace more than battery and will cost me $800 +, Used it for a year like that before giving it try using Ifixit kit
My Fix
Well I was not sure of using Ifixit battery due to difficulty level and also was not sure if replacing battery was going to help. But ordered it and installed the battery. The whole guide to replace battery is well drafted. I found the whole process very easy. Result - Laptop came back to life. give me 9-12 hrs backup with single charge.
My Advice
I would definitely recommend using this kit if you are having similar issue. This kit saved me fortune.
