fix to wait for the 8

My Problem

I needed to fix this part because the headphone jack no longer worked

My Fix

I have done this repair before on an Iphone5 so I was not worried. The repair seemed to go well. All the steps were followed exactly and were easy to understand. However, the phone has now been rendered and Ipod. After the repair I no longer get cell coverage it only works on wifi. I rechecked that the antenna was connected correctly and it was but no luck. I am figuring the sticky stuff next to the antenna is an extender and it did not stick very well it kept coming up until you put the parts over it back on. Maybe it was defective, I don't know but . I don't want to purchase another part and have it not work again so I switched to an old flip phone and will see if I can wait for the arrival of the Iphone 8.
