Easy Fix and Touch ID Still Works

My Problem

Screen was cracked and slowly started losing touch sensitivity on the lower edge which made it impossible to text.

My Fix

Repair was very simple using the videos and guides on the iFixit website. I swapped in the old button and maintained touch ID functionality.

My Advice

Watch the videos a couple of times, read through the pictorial guide also. The images with the colored circles around the different length screws are very important! Use the tray the screen comes in to hold your parts. The iSclack opener worked excellent, though I bought a cheaper unit on eBay.
