My Problem
My daughter's iPhone 5S was not booting up. We would get the low battery icon, followed by the Apple logo then the screen would go black, but the phone would stay on.
My Fix
The repair went well. The hardest part was removing the old battery was the hardest part. The strips broke off and I ended up using a combination of an old credit card and a small metal spatula to get the battery out. The iFixit iPhone 5S replacement kit is very nice. It contained all of the parts and tools that I needed to complete the repair. It was also shipped to me very quickly.
My Advice
Be extra careful when removing the battery. Do not pry against any of the internal components inside the iPhone. There are a lot of tiny things in there that could get destroyed.
