My Problem
My battery life was down to less than 2 hrs at best. The closest Apple Store is more than 5 hrs away. I knew it would take more than a few days if sent in to have them change it, not to mention the higher cost.
My Fix
I can't believe how easy it was and the clear instructions from iFixit. I had all the necessary tools, the correct battery for my older model and it went just as described!
My Advice
ALWAYS - check out iFixit to see if it is something you can repair yourself before you take it to the store!
