Bringing my 17" MacBook Pro Back to Life

My Problem

There was a problem with video that caused the laptop to freeze and reboot. Apple no longer covered the Early 2011 17" so I had to take charge of the repair.

My Fix

Thanks to iFixit I was able to remove the logic board properly and safely and send it to a shop for repairs.

My Advice

Don't give up on these older laptops! They may not have the most advanced features but they are workhorses and worth saving.
