Battery replacement

My Problem

Battery was not holding a charge for very long.

My Fix

Repair was easier than I thought, the only hitch was getting the clip back on, once I figured out the clip goes on in front of the little backplate instead of hooking in behind it snapped in place easily. The tape under the old battery broke but with a little heat from a heat gun applied it came out easily. All in all a pretty easy fix, it does help to have a magnifying glass handy unless your eyes are better than mine.

My Advice

It would help to show in your instructions that the clip snaps in in front of the backplate, I didn't notice that when I popped it off, spent a lot of time trying to get it on until I looked closely at it with a magnifying glass and figured out it hooks in in front of the backplate at which point it snapped right in. Make sure to work over something so that if you drop a screw you can find it, they are very tiny.
