My Problem
The phone had a cracked screen. I chose to replace the battery as it was 2.5 years old. The battery replacement is just a few steps more when replacing the screen
My Fix
Everything went well. I did have a few issues with the suction cup kept losing its power from the screen cracks leaking air. It took a few tries to get it apart. I also did not get the home button transferred completely. It worked, but the fingerprint reader did not work. I pulled it apart and re-seated the home button connected and then it started working again.
My Advice
Don't do it when tired. I almost installed a longer screw in a shorter hole on the battery connector holder.
