My Problem
Cracked glass screen. Wanted it repaired in lieu of buying a new phone and chose to replace the screen and digitizer as YouTube videos of how to repair just the glass seemed too labor intensive and I found it easier to replace both. Sorry, no pictures taken.
My Fix
The instructions were great, albeit, I did use some YouTube videos to supplement your guide. The phone looks new again. The biggest hurdle was the home button. Had difficulties getting it unattached and then when finally ready to reattach it found that there was not enough adhesive to reattach properly. I eventually used double sided Scotch tape to attach it in hopes it stays put. So far so good.
In fact, it went so well, my daughter now wants me to repair her iPad Air2 screen, so I'll be researching it soon.
My Advice
Maybe some alternatives on how to reattach the home button as I expect most may not have enough adhesive to reattach. Otherwise, the instructions and pictures were great.
