My Problem

My battery would run down with just a few hours of use. It was getting old, and didn't hold a charge.

My Fix

The battery replacement went very well. I watched the on-line video, when I bought the kit, and I did buy the kit, as the tools are essential. I am an experienced electronic technician, so the operation was very simple for me, but with normal dexterity, most anyone can perform the battery replacement.

My Advice

Yes, if one is accustomed to electronic repair I recommend watching the video, and reading any guidance material several times before you start, and take your time. The iPhone is compact, and can be damaged if care is not taken
