Easy repair, replacement part not as nice as original.

My Problem

Shattered my screen, would rather re-use than upgrade and recycle.

My Fix

Simple repair; the only complication was that the glass was almost fully gone, and suction only served to remove more of it.

My Advice

Put tape over broken glass before attempting suction, and go slowly to avoid tearing.

This screen is not as good as the original; the color balance is off and no amount of color profile tweaking gets it to look stock. The digitizer is also less sensitive, particularly in a band around the bottom... right where the on-screen keyboard lays.
