My Problem
My screen was cracked due to being dropped on a tile floor
My Fix
Super easy. I had replaced an iPhone 5 screen a year ago so I had a tool kit. I opted for the replacement with everything included (speaker, lens, camera, sensor) so all I need to transplant was my home button. Took about 15 minutes.
My Advice
Before closing the phone I tested all of the functions (touch, camera, etc..). I never tried to force the connectors, just gentle pressure.
