iMac HD Replacement was a breeze

My Problem

Old spinning platters needed to be replaced with SSD for speed.

My Fix

This was a breeze - actually did three machines. Thanks to the iFixit tools, guide and videos I was able to not only replace the drive but clean up the machine nicely. The first one took about ½ hour and the other two were less - probably about 15 minutes apiece because I knew just how the cables disconnected.

My Advice

Read the guide, watch the video, read the guide, watch the video and THEN start pulling the machine apart.
