The front screen was completely cracked
My Fix
The repair the first time around failed because of a defective screen. However, I contacted iFixit and they sent me a replacement screen. I sent them the defective screen with a returned shipping label that was provided and I accidentally forgot to remove my original Home Button assembly from the defective screen. The defective screen was already on its way back to iFixit and I contacted them above the mistake. They immediately shipped me my original Home Button assembly back at no cost to me. Their customer support team really will go to extreme lengths to ensure their customers are satisfied. The installation is simple and I recommend watching their instruction video if it is you first time. Screen is reliable and I have no issues.
