Easy repair but required one extra tool (needle nose pliers)...

My Problem

My screen was broken at one corner due to a drop

My Fix

Repair was much easier than I had anticipated. Took less than 20 minutes.

My Advice

The only surprise was that the hinges on the display assembly are quite tight. In order to mount the new display the hinges had to be opened from 0 degr (the display was shipped as if the macbook is closed) into ca 100degr open. This required the use of pliers and a little force. I "practised" with the old display to check how much force I could apply without causing any damage. But all in all, a very easy repair.
