My Problem
My iPhone battery was not lasting long at all, and would randomly turn off at any percentage.... 87%, 33% etc. And, would shut off in the middle of things. Often, it would say it was around 50%, would shut off, I'd charge it and it would turn back on and be at 75%! So frustrating. I had no idea when it would die, so was constantly connected to a charger. The phone isn't even two-years-old, and I hated the thought of buying a new phone, so i figured I'd spend the $40 to try to fix it myself. And it worked!! I was so excited!
My Fix
Very easy to follow; I actually used a tutorial from an article I read.
My Advice
I used a hairdryer to loosen the adhesive, and I held the bottom part of the phone with an oven mitt and used the hair dryer on the back of the phone so i wouldn't damage anything else. It got HOT but the oven mitt saved me!
