My Problem

My iPhone 6 lost its wireless connectivity, which lobotomised location services.

My Fix

Using tools, parts and online guides from iFixit I was able to replace the Wi-fi antenna and ribbon cable in under an hour and for less than $40. It wasn't a difficult repair, just follow the guide and keep the tiny screws organised.

My Advice

If you've got steady hands and the patience and focus to follow instructions you can fix your own iPhone. Very satisfying!
