My Problem
Phone dropped, screen top popped out, and screen had power but no picture.
My Fix
All went just as the video shows, except the home button contacts was a bit harder to remove even with heat. And then they wouldn't stick onto the new screen. With a bit of patience—holding it down for a minute or so—all was fine. Phone works very well. Also found that several parts were missing from the iPhone due to Apple forgetting to put them back after changing a recalled battery fix 3 years ago. Missing metal parts, screws and interconnect cables. Bad Apple!!!
My Advice
Be patient, organized and stable. Don't drink coffee before repair. Also, you may need to use several videos for each specific part for more info and screw sizes if you mix them up.
