My Problem
My iPhone was burning through its battery in a couple of hours, and it would commonly turn off when it had reached 40% discharge.
My Fix
The repair was pretty quick. The only issue I had was pulling the white sticky tape out from underneath the old battery. The tape kept breaking off before I could slide it out, so I ended up wedging the battery out with the plastic spudger. This basically destroyed the old battery (and was probably a little dangerous), but it worked out in the end.
My Advice
Be careful removing the old battery, and also be careful with those tiny connectors!
