Lightening Connector Assembly Replacement

My Problem

I couldn't get the phone to charge unless the the lightening connector was positioned just right in the charging jack

My Fix

This was my first attempt at a repair of the type. I learned quickly to take my time and follow the directions to the letter. Make sure you take the parts out in order and keep the parts separated so they go back in the same order. The screws aren't easy to identify if you get them out of order. Having done it once I think I could complete the job in two hours or less.

My Advice

Be patient. I used a magnifying glass with an attached light that really helped with some of the steps when disassembling and reassembling.
