My Problem
I had to of these phones. One was my wife's and the other was mine. We split up and she gave me her phone back. I switched phones and sold mine, because her phone worked better than mine. I had to replace the battery in her phone when I switched to it, because she killed the battery constantly watching UTube on her down time.
My Fix
The repair went nice and smooth. Apple has made the phones easier to work on since they came out with a new design after the 4 and the 4S.
My Advice
If you dont have any kind of mechanical knowledge you shouldnt try to repair your phone by yourself. The mounting hardware in the phone is so tiny and everything has to be taken apart very carefully, because the parts in the phone can break easily. Luckily there are all kinds of how to videos online and on UTube to get you somewhat familiar with what you have to do with the phone.
