My Problem
My iPhone was turning off around 15-20%. I suspected the battery to be going bad.
My Fix
Very easy. The battery replacement kit comes with the screw drivers, the battery and the replacement adhesive strips. The instructions on the ifixit website make it really easy to follow along. I will say, if you're not careful, you can damage your phones internal parts and have to spend more money to replace, so I wouldn't recommend this process to a novice. But if you have a moderate understanding of electronic components then you should be ok.
My Advice
Go very slowly and don't yank on any cables or connectors. The pieces inside the phone are very fragile and can break easily. Read through the ifixit repair guide first so you have a general understanding. Then follow along while you are doing the repair.
Don't forget to calibrate your battery. Drain it past 10% on the initial charge. Then plug it in and charge it up to 100%. Doing this a few times is not a bad idea.
