My Problem
The charging port was not worked when plugging in a cable. Replacement from Amazon was defective, causing Android Kernel Wake-Locks battery drain. iFixit replacement was OEM refurbished. Phone works like new now.
My Fix
The repair went okay. It was tricky to open the phone, even with the right tools, but once it was open all went well.
