My Problem
I bought my phone used online as I wanted to use it with tracfone & at the time they only accepted older phones. Apparently, the battery was worn as the phone would only work for 20 minutes before it would run out of charge.
My Fix
The package came quickly & was complete with tools for replacing the old battery. The only snag was when I took the old battery out, a small spacer piece fell out of the area of the battery & was not apparent from where. The video did not talk about that. I watched the instructional video again and at the end were comments from others who had replaced their phone batteries & many of them talked out the little piece falling out and how and where to replace it. THAT was very helpful!
My Advice
Well, if the instructional video had shown the little spacer piece and where to fit it back in it would have been an improvement.

Overall I am VERY happy with the ifixit and am thankful that they are offering this service to help empower us to fix our stuff ourselves cheaper and faster and with more convenience than depending on a store to do it for us.
My husband is asking me to check to see if they can help with another problem we're having with something else!
