My Problem
Customers phone stopped charging unless cable was wiggled in port.
My Fix
I followed the guide and it took a little over 30 minutes from start to finish to complete. I did not remove the battery or sim card, as it wasn't needed for this repair. I did disconnect the battery and follow the rest of the steps though. New part worked great.
My Advice
Skip the battery removal and save yourself a few minutes there.
