My Fix
Repair went very well. Was slightly intimidated at first. Watched videos and went over instructions several times before getting started. Overall, went very smooth. Was not as difficult as was anticipating.
My Advice
Read all of the edits and go over all the instructions multiple times before getting started. There might be slight differences between your PS3 and the ones pictured, but if you read over everything multiple times, there shouldn't be any issues. Also, ignore trolls that claim problems with instructions or anything like that. Everything went very well. Also, bit driver set that comes with repair kit is an awesome little handy-dandy set.
