Replaced a fan, became one myself.

My Problem

I started hearing a loud spinning grinding noise from my Macbook Pro, so I opened it up and took a look, deduced that it was the fan, not the Hard drive, and ordered the corresponding fan from ifixit.

My Fix

Ridiculously easy, given that I had the right tools (spudger, torx bit, jeweler phillip's head) it was almost trivially easy to follow the directions given and switch out the fan for the new one.

My Advice

Get a Spudger, it's only a couple bucks and you'll save yourself a scratched board or ripped wires.
