Swapping HDD with SSD in two 27" iMacs (late 2012 and late 2013)

My Problem

Replaced existing HDD with SSD in two different 27" iMacs.

My Fix

Went smoothly after receiving the Opening Wheel and iFixit cards.

My Advice

DO NOT attempt to open without using the iMac Opening Wheel or something similar. I learned the hard way and cracked the glass of the first iMac I attempted to open using a prying tool. The iMac Opening Wheel does a great job of cutting through the double-sided tape used to hold the glass panel to the body of the iMac.
