My Problem
Our 4 year old 4s was loosing battery capacity. A full charge would only last 4-5 hours of standby time. Use it for texting or taking photos and it would instantly show below 10% battery life.
My Fix
Changing the battery was very very simple. The photos were very straight forward and instructions perfect. I had the battery changed in under 30 minutes.
My Advice
Take your time removing the battery. Keep using the spludger that comes in the kit to pry up the battery section by section. Slowly move up and down the battery getting the spludger in deeper and gently prying the adhesive away.
One other piece of advice. Pre bend the connections on the battery to the way they were shaped on the previously connected battery it makes putting it all back together a snap.
